This programme will enable participants to avoid common pitfalls and become competent users of Microsoft Project. By the end of this training, users should be very comfortable with using the programme, and able to create and manage a reasonably complex project.

This course will help you:

  • Immediately improve the application of MS Project to your own project workload
    • Allocate and share resources, and resolve conflicts among them
    • Produce reports of value, both in standard and customized formats
    • Accurately monitor multiple projects through proven tracking and updating techniques
    • Understand and navigate Microsoft Project tables and views
    • Set up project calendars, enter working and non-working times
    • Create a new project from scratch
    • Create tasks, enter task durations, summary tasks and milestones
    • Entering complex relationships including lag and lead time
    • Establish a resource pool, assign resources, identify over-allocations and level resources
